About Selene 66
The Selene 66 leads the fleet of classic Selene Ocean Trawlers designed by Howard Chen. The Selene 66 is built on the same hull mold as the Selene 62 and the increase in length allows for significant expansion of living and operating spaces throughout the boat.
The spacious cockpit of the Selene 66 has enough room for lounge chairs in addition to the built-in settee. Still with this comfortable aft-deck sitting area, there is plenty of room to access the rounded stairway leading up to the flybridge. The flybridge can also be accessed from a stairway inside the pilothouse. The flybridge of the Selene 66 accommodates a large tender as well as comfortable seating for eight.
The full living and dining area of the Selene 66 is on the salon level and can be entered from the cockpit. A spacious pilothouse includes the galley so the cook has an outstanding view from the surrounding windows. Owners will enjoy three bedrooms, which all have ensuite bathrooms. The master stateroom is completed with a vanity, full length closets, and writing desk. The crew quarters are aft of the engine room.
Machinery spaces aboard the Selene 66 are easily accessed through a transom door or side deck door and the engine room features full standing headroom over 6 feet. All major components are within reach for ease of maintenance. In addition to clean engine room spaces, a massive lazarette has space for separate washer and dryer units stored under a workbench. The lazarette also includes a sink and freezer for owner convenience.
